PROGRAM DETAILS:
The Designer Prototype & Development Program consists of a minimum of 18 days of combined lab work at The Shoe College.  In this fast-track in-depth course of study, students can use this program to create prototypes or special projects in the shoe lab and, if so desired, divide the program into two segments (must be completed within 1 year of the commencement of the first day of the first segment of the program).

Students can focus on a specific type of shoe or construction or opt for a broader course of study in shoe design and construction which consists of one each of gradually more difficult types of shoes, i.e. starting w/ a sandal, then heeled or wedge mule, then on to a fully lasted closed toe and heeled shoe or boot, etc. given the 18 day time allotment. Students are expected to produce original designs and work out design problems through the process of fabricating the prototypes. Your master shoe designer/maker/instructor works with each student on a one on one mentoring type structure for optimal success.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible for professional recommendations by instructors and the director of The Shoe College, Universite des Chaussures. Contact us for specifics to your goals.
